TWO people have been fined for failing to give information to the police in Droitwich.

On January 3 2021, in Droitwich, Laila Mckenzie failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a BMW who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

Mckenzie, 35, of Wymbush Gardens, Bristol, pleaded not guilty to the offence on June 12 last year.

She was found guilty by Hereford Magistrates Court on March 25 2021.

Mckenzie was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32, costs of £100 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and her driving record was endorsed with six points.

Also in Droitwich, on October 8 last year, Faheem Ajaib failed to give information to the police relating to the identification of the driver of a BMW who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

The case was proved by single justice procedure at Hereford Magistrates Court on March 25 2021.

Ajaib, 45, of Locke Way, Stafford, was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66, costs of £90 and his driving record was endorsed with six points.

Meanwhile, a man has been fined for speeding in Worcester.

On August 30 last year, Lee Fairless was caught speeding on a restricted road: the A44 New Road in Worcester.

He was caught driving at a speed exceeding 30mph.

The case was proved by single justice procedure at Hereford Magistrates Court on March 25 2021.

Fairless, 48, of Whinchat Grove, Kidderminster, was fined £440, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44, and costs of £90.

His driving licence was also endorsed with four points.
