A DROITWICH charity has been giving a financial boost of £351,000.
SpeakEasy NOW, a self-advocacy charity that supports people with learning disabilities and autism, has been awarded the cash to run the SpeakUp and Connect Project for four years.
A spokesman said: “ The funding will afford further development of our countywide self-advocacy groups and also expand our engagement with other organisations, to include working with our local communities.
"We will also be expanding our Easy Read and Learning Disability Awareness Training Service. Information should be accessible to all, and we can certainly offer our expertise in this area."
The funding came from The National Lottery Community Fund.
