A BREWERY in Malvern needs £27,000 to offer disabled access and is appealing for help from the public to help make it happen.

Malvern Hills Brewery, which is opening its taproom in West Malvern, needs to ensure disabled access to meet its planning requirements.

This, the brewery's management say, will set them back £27,000.

On their fundraising page, they said: "It has always been our dream to open a taproom alongside the brewery here in West Malvern.

"This would enable us to better showcase our award-winning beers and connect more meaningfully with our close-knit local community.

"Therefore, as part of the planning permission for the taproom, a disabled toilet and disabled access have to be built adjacent to the brewery.

"This will allow beer lovers, hill walkers, and locals alike to learn, sample and buy our fabulous beers and merch.

"We have started the groundwork for the disabled toilet and some superficial additions to the taproom.

"However, there is still plenty more to do, therefore, we are looking to raise a total of £27, 000 to:

- Purchase and install a disabled lift

- Create disabled access to our taproom

- Modify, adjust, and enhance the taproom & build a disabled-friendly toilet.
