MILA Lillian is a very special baby for the Chapman family, one who has brought much-needed sunshine into their lives.
Mila was born at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on October 1 last year, weighing 8lb 12oz, to proud parents Kayleigh and Craig.
Kayleigh said: "Mila was born by c-section 31 days early.
"After a few days in the neonatal intensive care unit for low blood sugars we brought her home to meet her brothers and sister.
"Her eldest sister, Lily, sadly passed away from cancer 26 days before Mila was born.
"In such dark times Mila has brought us such joy."
Readers may remember the tragic tale of Lily, who died after a brave battle with leukaemia.
Lily died in the care of Acorns Children’s Hospice last September after fighting acute lymphoblastic leukaemia that she was first diagnosed with at the age of five in 2017.
Now elder brothers and sister Riley, Harrison and Keira have a new bundle of joy to help raise in what we hope are brighter days ahead.
