A 46-year-old man has admitted exposure and outraging public decency in Worcester after he performed a sex act upon himself.

Simon Burnley of Northfield Street, Worcester, appeared over videolink at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday where he admitted the sexual offences.

Burnley pleaded guilty to an act of outraging public decency (performing a sexual act upon himself) in Spring Gardens, Worcester on March 29 this year.

On the same day he also had in cannabis, a class B drug, in his possession.

He also pleaded guilty to exposure in Worcester on April 24 this year.

The sentence was adjourned for a further sentence hearing at Worcester Magistrates Court on May 27.

This will allow time for a pre-sentence report to be prepared by the probation service. In the meantime the defendant was remanded in custody.
