VOTERS across the city will go to the polls today to choose city and county councillors as well as a police and crime commissioner.

The majority of voters in Worcester will have their say in three separate elections with contests being held in a third of wards to elect representatives to Worcester City Council with all of the places on Worcestershire County Council up for grabs as well as the vote for West Mercia’s Police and Crime Commissioner taking place.

Twelve of the city’s 15 wards will be going to the polls today (May 6) including voters in Arboretum; Battenhall; Bedwardine; Cathedral; Claines; Gorse Hill; Nunnery; Rainbow Hill; St Clement; St John; St Stephen; and Warndon.

But, where is your nearing polling station?

Click here and enter your postcode and find out where you can go to vote.

When you arrive, you will need to give your name and address to staff, and they will check you're registered to vote. They'll then give you your ballot papers for the elections that are happening in your area.

You should read the papers carefully, and mark your choices clearly. There will be pens and pencils available - but voters are asked to bring their own to reduce the risk of Covid spreading.

Masks should also be worn.
