OUR Friday profile this week is a business which has become a familiar feature in the city’s Trinity Street.
Worcester War Games has been running for eight years, the independent hobby store selling boardgames, tabletop games and card games.
But owner Andy Monaghan says it’s not only a shop.
“As much as we are a shop we are first and foremost a community,” he said.
“Many of our customers have social and learning difficulties and find the shop a safe and comfortable place to be.”
“And our proudest moment is still the day we served our very first customer.”
