The Fairfield Centre in Warndon will become a new location for regular rapid flow testing for COVID-19 from Monday 10 May 2021.

Residents who are over the age of 18, will be able to access a free rapid test at The Fairfield Centre, Carnforth Drive, between 10am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday and 10am and 12:30pm on Saturday (closed on Sunday).

Dr Kathryn Cobain, Director of Public Health in Worcestershire, said: “It’s great that the Fairfield Centre in Warndon is supporting the local community by becoming the next rapid testing site. It is currently advised that everyone should get a twice-weekly rapid test.

"It is important that our residents can get these tests quickly and easily.

"By doing this we are all helping to protect our family and loved ones, as well as our community.”

Hannah Perrott, Assistant Director for Communities, said: “The Fairfield Centre provides a convenient location for local people to get tested and is a great addition to the free rapid flow testing kits that are already available from Warndon library, based within the same building.

"Libraries across Worcestershire reopened on 12 April for browsing and borrowing so this gives people a great opportunity to get tested while visiting the library.”
