MANY of us are enjoying being wined and dined at our local pubs and restaurant once again.

However, limited capacities and Covid restrictions mean that advance bookings are the new norm and spontaneous trips to the pub are much more uncertain.

The majority of local pubs need to be booked- and many of the best slots are like gold dust.

However, some pubs are accepting walk-ins meaning there is no need to book days or weeks in advance.

We have tracked down pubs and restaurants in Worcester that are accepting walk-in customers- here’s everything you need to know about them:

1. Wintrip Brew Co, Copenhagen Street

This quirky pub has a wide range of beers on offer including The Butcher’s Beastly Best and Lady Marmalse to name a few.

While they are taking bookings, they are also accepting walk ins for outdoor seating.

2. The Olive Branch Mediterranean Bistro and Wine Bar, Church Street

The award-winning Church End brewery pub specialises in ales, quality wines as well as spirits and soft drinks.

They also have an impressive beer garden- but don’t just take our word for it.

One reviewer said: “Good pub with nice garden, considering the restrictions they do seem to be running it well.”

5. The Berkeley Arms, School Road

Worcester News:

The Berkeley Arms is open right now- and they have outdoor heaters to keep you nice and toasty until you can come back inside later this month.

Hickory’s do have limited tables available for walk ins- but it’s best to double check around peak times.
