A 38-year-old man accused of false imprisonment and assault against a former partner as well as breaking her mobile phone has been granted bail with 'stringent conditions'.
Daniel Davies denied false imprisonment, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage when he appeared over videolink at Worcester Crown Court yesterday.
The father, previously of Guildford Close, Ronkswood, Worcester denied the false imprisonment of his former partner between March 12 and March 15 this year, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and destroying property (an iPhone 11 Pro Max valued at £750) between the same dates.
A trial date was fixed for December 6 this year at Worcester Crown Court. Judge Martin Jackson granted bail with several conditions - a condition of residence at Sedgley Road West, Tipton; an electronically monitored curfew between 7pm and 7am and a condition of no contact, directly or indirectly, with prosecution witnesses.
Davies was advised he had to serve his defence statement by July 2 this year.
