Police launched an investigation after mum-of-three, Natalie Harrison, reported her daughter was chased down the street by a man who jumped out the back of a white Renault Kangoo in Conway, off Tolladine Road.

An image of the van was captured by a neighbour's CCTV.

The incident occurred between 7.50pm and 8.20pm on Thursday, May 6, as the young girl walked her dog on Conway just one street away from her home.

The victim’s account of the incident said the van drove past slowly before she realised something was amiss.

The man chased her most of the way home, stopping just as she reached the alley way before her house.

Miss Harrison, said, "Myself and the entire family are just very glad she is safe and that we’re proud of her for using her intuition to run when she did"

The girl has described the man as middle-aged, six ft, Asian with a beard. He was seen wearing a dark grey tracksuit . Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, or visit the force’s website westmercia.police.uk
