Our live traffic feed, which can be found here, said that the road is closed Eastbound and there is 'very slow traffic' after the incident.
Two vehicles are thought to be involved between the Witney Road, near the petrol station, to the Eynsham Roundabout.
The incident is thought to have been 'resolved'. It is not known if anybody is injured.
As part of Thames Valley Police policy, the force refuses to comment on road traffic collisions unless there is a witness appeal.
