WE all know just how difficult it can be to sell or buy a house.

Some properties fly off the market- but other properties can be listed for months or years at a time even if they are beautiful places to live with no obvious faults.

We have tracked down some of the oldest property listings in Worcestershire each of which has something special to offer any prospective buyers- one of them could even be your next dream home.

Tom Parker, Consumer Spokesperson at Zoopla said: "If a property is taking longer than anticipated to sell, it often comes down to two factors: the asking price and the local market.

"We always recommend seeking advice from your estate agent to help drive the desirability of your listing - and being open to their feedback! If it's an issue with the interiors, it can pay dividends to clear the clutter and give the property a fresh lick of paint.

"Other times, it really does come down to patience; providing a property is priced accurately, and clean and tidy in appearance, there's no reason it shouldn't find a buyer."

Here are five Worcestershire homes that have been listed on the Zoopla website for the longest.

This gorgeous farmhouse has a lot of potential- from the outside it looks like something taken out of a period drama.

As well as five bedrooms this house has a lounge, a dairy room and a range of outbuildings.

However, despite its dreamy aesthetic it’s been on the market since August 2017.

It was initially listed for £550,000 but the price was increase by £25,000 in April- now the property sits at £575,000.

However, this might be because the house is in need of modernisation and improvement- these costs on top of the £575,000 price tag might put this property out of reach for some budgets.

Saying that, it is a charming house and the new owners will have 0.6 acres of land to play with too.

Another Tenbury Wells property listing tops the list- and this one is on the market for £635,000.

While not technically a house, they are ready to be transformed into some country houses.

This property was listed for sale in October 2017 but has since been unable to secure a buyer.

However, it’s a great opportunity for an investor to transform the property into something fantastic.

Included in the price are a range of four traditional farm buildings with planning permission to be turned into four country homes.

Is this a project that you could undertake?
