NO NEW Covid-related deaths were recorded at Worcestershire's hospitals over the past 24 hours according to official statistics.

It means the overall death toll for the Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust's remains at 808 and for the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust it stays 63.

In all settings, which includes care homes and hospices, the total number of coronavirus related deaths during the pandemic is now at 1,356.

There were 18 new deaths nationally in the 24-hour period from 4pm on May 31 to 4pm on June 1.

The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.

The Health and Care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
