CHIP lovers are being encouraged to have their say and vote for their favourite city shop.
With so many to choose from we asked Worcester News readers to nominate their favourite place to grab a classic fish and chip supper.
And after more than 650 nominations we have been able to put together a top 10 shortlist that includes:
Ambleside Fish Bar in Ambleside Drive,
Hooked Fish and Chips in Broadway Grove
The Crispy Cod in Pinkett Street
St Johns Fish Bar in Lambert Road
Lyppards Fryer in Ankerage Green
Donnellys Fish and Chips in Bromwich Road
Malko’s Fish Bar in Lichfield Avenue
Rainbow Hill Chippy in Astwood Road
The Golden Gourmet in Upper Tything
Newtown Fryer in Ronkswood Hill
We now need readers to support their favourite, with the winner taking the coveted title of Worcester News Best Chip Shop 2021.
To nominate simply use the voting coupon printed in the Worcester News newspaper, sending it by post to Worcester News Best Chip Shop, Redhill House, 227 London Road, Worcester, WR5 2JG.
Photocopies of the slip will not be counted, and there will be only one vote counted per coupon.
The closing date for entries is Sunday, June 27 - with the winner set to be announced in the week after.
The voting coupon will appear in the Worcester News throughout the next fortnight, with plenty of opportunities to support your favourite.
