PRIMARK in Worcester is open as usual despite an evacuation today (Wednesday, June 9).
Reports emanated on social media of “alarms ringing” and a “full store evacuation including staff with security locking the doors” at Primark in Worcester’s Crowngate Shopping Centre.
Staff at Primark, Worcester, referred us to Crowngate for the reason but said the fashion outlet had been “back open for business straightaway” following a “normal evacuation procedure”.
Crowngate’s centre manager Michael Lloyd confirmed it had been down to “general testing of the system and fire drills which we do on a regular basis”.
