WORCESTER Warriors fans are being invited to a free end of season party, organised after their final match was postponed.

Warriors’ final match of the season at Sixways had to be cancelled after opponents Gloucester had a positive test for Covid.

Peter Kelly, managing director, said: “As this was a match where we would have been allowed a restricted attendance of 3,100, it is doubly disappointing but we still want to reward our supporters for their loyalty over what has been an extremely challenging year.

"There was always going to be a party atmosphere for this match and the opportunity for the club and supporters to thank all players for their fantastic service and commitment.

"We still intend to give players a proper end-of-season send-off and we are working on putting on entertainment, food and drink for what will be a party in a safe and socially distanced environment.”

Anyone who wants to attend the party, being held at the stadium between noon and 6pm, needs to book in advance at warriors.co.uk.

The club says they can accommodate for the 3,100 that would have been allowed for the game.
