Such is the ethos at Design in the Shires, a website design and marketing agency based in Malvern Hills Science Park.

The agency, which has been flourishing for about three-and-a-half years, was created by husband and wife team Ben and Jess Williams, who grew up together in the beautiful countryside of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

Alongside Ben’s brother Ali, the company grew from working in a spare room to a stunning office at Malvern Hills Science Park.

"We are incredibly proud of what we have built at Design in the Shires.

"We work in a different way, we are not restricted by the formal approach of the corporate world, instead taking a more relaxed approach, that focuses on creating a stress-free environment that allows creativity and productivity to flourish.

"The greatest asset our business has is our incredible team. We believe we have a world class team, each highly skilled in their field. Looking after them is our top priority.

"This is why we have a dedicated Head of Happiness, and have also introduced a weekly wellness hour and we never ask for overtime.

"We are proud to have taken on two new members of staff in the pandemic, and also celebrate our representation of women in tech.
