THE owner of a new salon opening up in Reindeer Court says she feels the site is set to become "up and coming" post pandemic.

Sarah Roberts new salon, Natural Definition Beauty, is opening at the shopping arcade from this Monday.

We recently reported on Sam McCarthy, projects and marketing manager from Worcester BID, who said the arcade - that is accessed via The Shambles, Mealcheapen Street and New Street in Worcester city centre - needed "support more than ever" after recently being decimated by closures.

But Sarah, who had previously run the business from her city home, said it was a "good fit" to open its first salon.

"We needed a location that was good for parking and ideal for St Martin's Gate," she said.

"Those who had lived in Worcester for a long time will know Reindeer Court is about independents, and boutique shops.

"It is still popular.

"It was just a little bit forgotten through Covid and a lot of the independents (there before) have moved online or operating from residentials or different addresses.

"Hopefully we are moving in at a time it will be an up and coming area like it was after the last recession.

"Reindeer Court just needs a little TLC, and businesses that will come together and make it a community again."

The new salon is launching with an open day this Sunday, (July 4) featuring treatment demonstrations, raffles, and a chance to meet the salon team while enjoying a drink of bubbly.

The launch event takes place between 10am-3pm, before the salon opens the doors to the public from Monday.

Sarah said Natural Definition Beauty will specialise in enhancing wellbeing through a range of beauty treatments, health services and specialist courses.

And she said the salon will offer a range of specialised treatments from eyelash extensions to 3D Lipo body sculpting.

"We are also bringing a hairdresser, and we have just brought an aesthetics specialist in," she said.

"We have got all the clinical and prescriptive facials, as well as the normal beauty like waxing and tanning.

"We have an array of specialisms - we are really looking forward to opening."

The landlord of Reindeer Court was unavailable for comment as the Worcester News went to press.
