WARNING: BAD LANGUAGE
THIS is the embarrassing moment a councillor was sworn at for asking a question during a virtual meeting.
Worcester councillor Lynn Denham was about to speak towards the end of a two-hour scrutiny meeting when an unknown member of the online meeting forgot they had their microphone still switched on and swore in frustration.
Some of the members of Worcestershire County Council’s adult care and wellbeing overview and scrutiny panel were visibly shocked to hear the outburst at the end of the meeting on Thursday (July 8).
On Twitter Keith Bishop said: "Well, it's not quite Handforth Parish Council but someone in the @Worcscc scrutiny panel doesn't much like the idea of scrutiny.
"Keep asking the questions no-one wants you to ask @LynnDenham1"
