Kit Harrington is to play another King in a new adaptation of the Shakespeare play, Henry V.
Harrington, who spent much of his childhood in Worcestershire, will play the titular character in the play which is to be performed at Donmar Warehouse, London.
The show will run from February 11 until April 9, 2022.
The play centres around the Battle of Agincourt in 1415 and explores many of the same themes as Harrington’s previous show, Game of Thrones.
Artistic director Michael Longhurst said it delves into “modern political power and the psychology behind that.”
Harrington studied at the Chantry High School before attending Worcester Sixth Form prior to taking on the role of Jon Snow, the king of the north, in the HBO hit show.
