A PHOTO shoot is being held in a Worcester park to raise money for a mum raising money for life-saving treatment so she can see her children grow up.

Lauren Maddock, 28, was diagnosed with stage three triple negative breast cancer in November 2019 and having exhausted all treatment options available on the NHS.

We previously reported that generous supporters have helped the Malvern mum smash the initial £50,000 fundraising goal for pioneering therapy in Mexico.

But she still needs more to support the trip and her ongoing treatment.

Noa Rakic, who works as advertising sale support for the Worcester News is a self employed photographer in her spare time with her Simba Designs business.

After being inspired by Lauren's story she wanted to help so organised the fundraising photo shoot.

Noa said: "I read about Lauren and her story in the paper. "Seeing what she has already done - jumped twice out of an airplane to raise money for her treatment - and will do for a chance to be able to grow old with her family really touched me, and I really wanted to do something to help.

"Despite Lauren reaching her goal of £50,000, I still want to organise this fundraising even, as I am sure Lauren will need all the help for her and her family."

The fundraiser is being held at Worcester Woods Country Park, this Saturday, July 17, between 7am and 1pm.

People will be able to purchase a photo opportunity on the spot for a minimum donation of £5, and will receive a digital copy of their photo on their email or via web link.

She added photographs can be of the whole family, including pets.
