A ROAD is melting in Worcestershire today, as the sweltering July heat has caused the tarmac to melt.
This picture shows the tarmac on Brockamin Lane in Leigh bubbling and melting.
Former Worcester MP, Michael Foster, took to social media with the image.
He posted on Twitter: "I know it's hot elsewhere, but the roads are literally melting in Worcestershire."

He continued: "Along Brockamin Lane in Leigh, just around the bridge. Not sure what can be done, but all along the lane the tar is melting (fairly recently laid)".
Worcestershire Highways and Travel is investigating the matter.

A representative responded to the tweet to say they "may dust it" to resolve the issue.
