THE UK's largest outdoor inflatable park will now only be in Worcester for a single day, organisers have announced.

Inflatable Family Fundays had planned to come to city for the weekend from tomorrow through to Saturday, but plans have changed after the yellow weather warning issued for heavy rain and thundery showers by the Met Office.

The funday will be held at Worcester Rugby Football Club with back to back sessions from 10.30am tomorrow (Friday).

The company posted the update on their Facebook page writing: "Due to the weather forecasted for the coming weekend, and the Met Office weather warning, ourselves and the rugby club have made the hard decision that we will only be opening July 23.

"The safety of our visitors is paramount, along with the health and safety of our staff the site we use."

The park includes bumper boats, bungee trampolines, and bouncy castles.

The event is not taking pre-bookings, with wristbands only available to purchase on arrival.

Organisers have previously reassured parents all "necessary measures are in place" to make it Covid safe for all attending.

"Please can we also ask no more than two accompanying adults per family, due to restrictions on numbers, as well as the safety of everyone attending," they said.

Admission is £7 per child, with accompanying adults and car parking free of charge. The age range for this event is 2-12 years.
