A NEW inflatable play area has opened up in Worcester just in time for the school holidays.

The Buzz, at Redpoint Climbing Centre in Midland Road, is a ginormous inflatable with slides of all sizes, obstacles to clamber over and a course to tackle.

Already it has become a great day out in Worcester with children and staff are now getting ready for a busy summer period.

Worcester News went behind the scenes to see what the new inflatable play area was like.

Abbie Hickinson, centre manager, said: "We have had some amazing feedback from people.

"It's been overwhelmingly positive and we've had some great reviews online too."

There are special sessions at The Buzz for babies and toddlers.

Children from the age of five can go in independently while their parents sit and watch the fun on CCTV cameras.

Worcester News:

Adults are also welcome to enjoy the 380 sqm inflatables too - with or without children in tow.

There is something to challenge even the bravest soul especially the giant slide at the centre of the play area.

It is already proving popular and has been busy since opening its doors in May.

"We are pleasantly surprised with the number of people visiting us.

"A lot of that is possibly to do with staycations with people staying at home and we are not long out of lockdown.

Worcester News:

"People are itching to get out and do stuff and now we have summer holidays too."

Helpful staff are on hand to make sure everyone is safe and to carry out regular cleaning with a nifty sanitiser atomiser spray.

People can book one or two hour sessions at The Buzz and are asked to adhere to the company's covid regulations including masks, hand sanitiser and distancing.

Worcester News:

The idea for The Buzz was formed two years ago but it came together during lockdown when a workshop area was cleared to make way for the giant inflatable.

It is now open seven days a week with opening hours from 10am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm at weekends.

Sessions can be booked at thebuzzworcester.co.uk.
