A POPULAR riverside wedding and hospitality venue has vowed to publish CCTV footage of a man stealing a leaf blower from its grounds if it not returned.

The Holt Fleet on Holt Heath, Worcester, issued an appeal to the alleged culprit on Facebook in the hope of getting back the gardening equipment.

The statement, posted today (Monday, August 2) at 5.30pm, read: “We had four adults (two men and two women) in our pub garden yesterday (Sunday) about 7.15pm who before they left helped themselves to a leaf blower, which was behind our private gates, on the way back to their car.

“We have clear CCTV of all of them and one man taking it and will post footage and contact the police if not returned.”

The revelation prompted a host of comments to show support, many of which suggested posting the footage right away.

One read: “How disgusting. Cannot fathom people who do something like this! Despicable! Hope you get it back and the police sort them out.”

Another said: “Some people are complete lowlives. I'd get the police involved and show their disgusting faces, shame on them.”

Another read: “Unbelievable. I cannot understand how people would even contemplate this.

“You all have worked so hard for everything you have. Report it to the police even if they do return it, post the pictures (and) let their family and friends know what scum they are.”
