THERE have been four new coronavirus related deaths recorded at Worcestershire's hospitals in recent days, according to official statistics.
The latest NHS England figures up to Thursday, August 19, show there have been four new Covid deaths all recorded for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in the past week bringing its total to 819.
There were no newly recorded deaths at the Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, with the death toll remaining at 63.
The Acute Hospitals Trust covers Worcestershire Royal Hospital, as well as the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.
The Health and Care NHS trust covers community hospitals and rehabilitation wards, including Worcester City Impatient Unit, Malvern Community Hospital, Evesham Community Hospital, Pershore Community Hospital, the Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, Tenbury Community Hospital and the Wyre Forest Ward.
