There may be more than 100 days until Christmas - but mince pies are already on sale in Worcester.
A Worcester supermarket is getting into the festive spirit a little early by filling its shelves with the favourite festive treat.
At least three shelves in Asda in Silver Street have been given over to mince pies.
They are so confident shoppers will pick up the four pack of pies that two of the shelves are right at the entrance of the store.
Another shelf of the £1.75 Extra Special deep mince pies can be found in the cake and pastries section towards the bakery.
While most of us may still be hoping for a bit more late summer sunshine in September, it seems some Asda customers are ready for winter.
Customers could be seen looking at them bemusedly and picking up boxes to take home.
They will not be able to stockpile them until Christmas Day, however, as they best before date on them was around September 17.
Our reporter also visited Tesco in Warndon, Blackpole Sainsbury's and Co-operative on Ombersley Road which are yet to put mince pies on their shelves.
