EASTENDERS actor Adam Woodyatt swapped Walford for the Worcestershire Beacon.

The soap actor shared a picture of him at the top of the Malvern Hills taking in the incredible views across Worcestershire.

Adam, who plays Ian Beale in the BBC One soap, had climber the hills with his Peter James' Looking Good Dead co-stars and crew.

They included Gaynor Faye, who starred in Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

Gaynor shared a jubilant picture of herself on Instagram hands aloft on top of the beacon with the caption: "Having the most wonderful time at @malverntheatres with @peterjamesstage.

"The audiences are incredible, scenery sensational and being looked after exquisitely by Alex and Mark @trehernehouse b&b."

The pair had starred in Looking Good Dead which ran at Malvern until Saturday, September 4.

Adam is currently on extended leave from Eastenders and is due to return in 2022.

He is the soap's longest serving cast member alongside Jane Slaughter having appeared in the show since the first episode in 1985.

Peter James' Looking Good Dead was originally due to take place in March 2021 at Malvern but was rescheduled because of the pandemic.
