WHEN two pallets of brochures arrived outside the Swan Theatre this week it had a warmth and familiarity that has been missed somewhat over the past 18 months.

The printed brochure, hot off the press, is the first for 18 months and is also the first which carries our new branding as Worcester Theatres. This makes the arrival even more significant and optimistic for the future.

The season ahead for the Swan Theatre, Huntingdon Hall and our programming for the Royal Porcelain Works has so much to offer for the city and is reflective of our ambition to increase our programme and do more to engage our community.

The New-look Worcester Theatres

The New-look Worcester Theatres

We are thrilled to continue to offer a wide variety of shows within our programme whilst also including new events such as dementia friendly film screenings, a new diary of films, queer performances and a variety of ‘Getting involved’ events offering opportunities for free access to book club events for parents and baby, board games, culture café, knitting clubs and artist’s social events.

We have a more bustling venue at the Swan Theatre now than ever before and we hope that we can continue to build a venue which sees more cultural opportunities for engagement in the coming months. In reality after the difficulties we have all faced over the pandemic we want to use the benefits of the arts to ensure everyone can access the creative community.

This season also contains the traditional favourite of pantomime which we are greatly anticipating more than ever this year after postponing last year, all in all we are rather excited to be sharing this brochure with you.
