A DRIVER was stopped by police on a motorway and the vehicle has been seized.
A red Insignia was stopped by West Mercia Police Monday afternoon to prevent a "dangerous pursuit" on the M42 motorway.
The car's number plate was found to be cloned.
Officers confirmed on Twitter that they used TPAC tactics to stop the driver, who failed to provide driving documents.
Tactical pursuit and containment means officers use one of these several methods to stop fleeing vehicles, including; rolling roadblocks, use of spike strips, and the "box and stop" containment method.
Worcestershire OPU tweeted: "This cloned Insignia was stopped by Team A using TPAC tactics to prevent a dangerous pursuit on the M42 earlier. Driver was found to have no driving documents, he has been reported and the vehicle seized."
