DEAR Editor ā€“ I am totally frustrated in a time when we are being discouraged to send items to land fill and always being encouraged to re cycle, wishes are made impossible.

Charity shops are becoming even more selective about what they will or not take and are limiting the number of days they will take donations in.

I have a perfectly good double bed, triple wardrobe and six drawer chest along with many other perfectly good items that nobody seems to want, so Iā€™m being forced to send them for landfill.

I have china and glass that nobody will take and above all I have 18 brand new Kilner jars that nobody wants even though we are in the perfect season to pick and preserve fruit and vegetables and make things such as jams and chutney.

I want hardly anything for most items but It breaks my heart to take them to landfill!
