A MAN has been convicted for driving whilst over the limit after being pulled over by police for speeding.

The driver was arrested on March 7 after West Mercia Police pulled the car over for driving at 90 miles per hour in a 50 mile zone.

He was pulled over by officers in an unmarked police car and tested positive for driving over the limit - on cannabis and cocaine.

West Mercia officers confirmed in a tweet that the driver of the vehicle has now been convicted of the crime and handed a three year driving ban.

He has also received over £750 in fines, costs and victim surcharges.
