The Worcester Paint Festival is taking place right now with more than 20 permanent works of art being created.
The festival continues tomorrow, Sunday September 19, but the creations will be here long after the weekend draws to a close.
Both established national street artists and new emerging local ones have added their creations to the city’s walls.
Sophie Mess came from Devon especially for the event and she decorated the side of an apartment block just off of St Pauls Street.
She said: “There’s a lot of stuff going on in the world right now, and I guess always, so what my piece is trying to highlight is that we’re all the same and we’ve all got a lot of kindness in us.
“Events like this definitely change people’s perception of street art.
“There’s so much power in street art to bring good to an area, to boost the area, and inspire a bit of creativity.”
The festival is taking place across the city with projects in Crowngate Shopping Centre, Cripplegate Park and Royal Porcelain Works.
