DEAR Editor – In the past I have used Warwick Parkway to travel for meetings after several bad experiences on the Cotswold Line.

I decided to try Worcestershire Parkway but it was impossible to pay for parking as the sun was shining directly into the screen on the machine, making it completely unreadable.

I then went to the station for help but, at 10am on a weekday morning, there were absolutely no staff to assist despite there being three ticket offices, one of which had a jacket draped over a chair. The situation was absolutely ludicrous.

The result was that I made the journey by car, increasing air pollution. When I last used Warwick Parkway there were staff, a cafe and you paid for your car parking together with your train ticket.

Until I can be sure that Worcestershire Parkway offers reasonable service to passengers I shall go back to Warwick Parkway.
