A 26-year-old cocaine dealer has accepted possession of criminal cash but denies he was supplying cannabis.

Kamar Hussain of Battenhall Road, Worcester, appeared at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday.

He denied being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis) between September 2 and September 6, 2019 (although he indicated he would plead guilty to simple possession).

Hussain admitted two counts of possession of criminal property (cash) on September 5, 2019 and June 29 last year.

He also accepted that he stood convicted of being concerned in the supply of cocaine after admitting the offence at Worcester Magistrates Court on August 19 this year.

The next hearing was adjourned until Wednesday, October 13, also at Worcester Crown Court. This hearing will be for sentence, provided the basis of plea offered by Hussain is accepted by the Crown.

In the meantime he was granted bail.
