THE city's plastic free shop is celebrating its third birthday this week - and is giving customers free cookies to mark the occasion.
Customers at Pack It In - Zero Waste Living will be given the treats until Saturday to mark the day it opened its doors in The Shambles Market Hall in 2018.
Owner Phillipa Gilfillan, who was previously a teacher, started the business aided by her son Ru.
She said she was really proud of and grateful to all the staff who have supported her efforts over the last three years.
"It has been a rollercoaster during the last three years and I'm very excited for the next three.
"I am really grateful to all our loyal regular customers who have supported us and we hope to make the shop even better for them in the next three years."
Since opening, the shop now employees a team of five people and have managed to widen their stock line.
They have also launched an online shop with local delivery available too and will be selling Christmas cake packs soon for people to make their own cake.
