AN inmate has denied attacking a prison officer in a Worcestershire prison which caused a concussion.
Serving prisoner Abdullah Jama-Farah appeared over videolink at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday where he denied the assault which is alleged to have taken place in HMP Long Lartin near Evesham.
The 25-year-old pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Connor Anderson said to have been committed on April 8 this year.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the case was adjourned for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 4 this year.
