POLICE have confirmed that no arrests have been made after concerns were raised for a child's welfare in Evesham.
Concerns were raised by people on social media which suggested that a child had been struck several times by a man in the car park of McDonald's, Link Road, Evesham on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 13.
Police said they launched an investigation and had spoken to those involved in the alleged incident.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We received a report of a concern for safety and an investigation was carried by officers, but no further action was taken.
"Officers spoke to the people involved but no arrests were made."
