A DRUG runner has been jailed after he was caught with significant amounts of cocaine near Worcester.

Reece Jury, originally arrested in Stoulton, near Worcester, was jailed on October 5 for seven years and eight months.

He was caught with two kilos of the drug, valued at around £200k according to police.

The 33 year-old, of Broadwater Gardens, London, appeared at Worcester Crown Court, where he received his sentence for possession with intent to supply.

Jury was originally arrested on August 17 and appeared at magistrates court in the same month.

His court date was originally set for September 17, but he was not sentenced until this month.

The South Worcestershire Proactive CID shared a photo of Jury, as well as photos of the drugs, on Twitter.

Their tweet said: "Yesterday, Reece Jury, aged 33 of Broadwater Gardens, London was sentenced to seven years and eight months after being convicted of Possession with intent to supply cocaine in Worcestershire on August 17, 2021.

"Jury was in possession of 2kg of cocaine valued at approx £200k at street value."
