ICE skating is coming to Worcester this winter.

Sixways Stadium is playing host to the under-cover outdoor ice rink from November 26 to December 31.

The rink can hold up to 75 skaters at any one time and will be staffed by skate marshals.

All ages from four years-old upwards are welcome to skate, with help for younger skaters available.

The ice rink will be open at the following times:

Monday to Thursday: 10am to 8pm

Friday and Saturday: 10am to 10pm

Sunday: 10am to 8pm

The sessions will begin on the hour and will last for 45 minutes with a 15-minute change over period.

There is an ‘Early Bird’ ticket price for selected sessions, available on weekdays between 12pm and 2pm (finishing at 3pm).

The ‘Scrum Club’ onsite will be open daily offering hot drinks and snacks so skaters and non-skaters alike can keep warm before and after skating.

Hand sanitiser will be freely available for customers and skates will be sanitised after use with regular cleaning in operation.

Residents can pre-book online through the Worcester Warriors website to guarantee their place or buy your tickets from the box office on-site when you arrive.

Remember, you may have to wait for your turn on the ice if you haven’t booked your session in advance, especially during peak times.

Sixways recommends warm, waterproof outdoor clothing while skating with long socks, gloves and hats also encouraged.
