Two of three lanes have been closed on the M5 as teams work to tackle a large lorry fire.

Traffic was originally fully halted northbound between J8 (M50) and J7 (Worcester (S) / Evesham) before highways officers decided to reopen one lane.

Delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected as queues of over three and a half miles are building.

Fire crews from the West Midlands Fire Service and the Hereford and Worcester Fire Service are in attendance.

Maintenance crews are also making their way to the scene.

A second lane is also due to be reopened shortly.
