ANOTHER car has been broken into during a recent spate of car crimes in Warndon Villages.

This picture shows the smashed glass left after thieves attempted to access the car.

A resident of Wood Leason Avenue, Lyppard Hanford, said he was woken up by the alarm of his car going off on his driveway, and discovered the shattered window at 3am on Monday morning (October 18).

The resident wrote on Facebook: "Please be careful people, don’t leave anything in your cars."

The incident follows a spate of car break-ins that hit Warndon Villages in the summer.

In July two vehicles were stolen from driveways of properties in the area while in August Paul Bennett said he discovered his car had been broken into on his drive at his home also in Wood Leason Avenue.

Worcestershire county councillor for Warndon, Andy Roberts, said at the time: "It comes in waves, but we are suffering at the moment."

Warndon police were contacted for comment, but no one was available.
