IT has been just over a year since Little Bento Box began serving takeaway vegan sushi from its trailer in Angel Place.
But 13 months - and one global pandemic - later they are getting set to move into a new indoor venue in the city centre.
Chloe Bourne, owner of Little Bento Box, is busy preparing the new cafe in The Shambles Market Hall ahead of its opening tomorrow (Tuesday).
The 11-seat restaurant will be upstairs next door to the Out Of This World comic book shop.
Miss Bourne, who lives near Ombersley, said: "I'm very excited and a little bit nervous too but I think that's a good combination.
"I really like the building and I think it's really pretty.
"Zero waste shop Pack It In is based there and I think a lot of our customers will overlap.
"I set up Little Bento Box because it was difficult to find vegans sushi which was plastic free in shops.
"One of the reasons we wanted to move away from the trailer was so people could have a nice experience and not worry about where to eat and enjoy the food."
Earlier this month, Little Bento Box took part in Worcester Vegan Market with long queues stretching from Cathedral Place to the Sir Edward Elgar statue.
Miss Bourne is a self-taught sushi chef and popular dishes at Little Bento Box include large burrito size sushi rolls, rice based sushi and Japanese snacks.
They will be starting by offering the same menu as they serve from their trailer but they hope to change it in the future.
"We have got a really nice bunch of regulars who are really excited about us opening in the market hall.
"Because I work on my own the regulars become part of your work family.
"At the moment we have 11 seats but we may look to expand in the future."
Little Bento Box will be open from Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4.30pm. However, it will be closed on Saturday, October 23.
