Fire crews have responded to a van that was engulfed in flames in Malvern.
The vehicle was on fire in North Malvern Road just after 4pm on Monday, October 18.
A video sent into the Worcester News showed a fire engine arriving on the scene to find the vehicle well alight along with fuel running away from the vehicle, producing clouds of thick black smoke just outside a residential property.
Two fire crews from Worcester and Malvern attended the scene alongside police and highways officers.
The road was closed in both directions while they tackled the fire.
A spokesman from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Malvern and Worcester – were called at 16:03 on October 18 to a small vehicle on fire on North Malvern Road.
"A van on fire was extinguished by crews wearing breathing apparatus and using a hosereel jet. A fuel spillage was contained using equipment from an environmental grab pack.
"Police and Highways also attended and there was some superficial damage to the paintwork of a nearby property.
"North Malvern Road was closed in both directions. The incident was marked as pending closure at 17:28."
It is not yet clear how the vehicle caught fire.
