The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings as thunderstorms are set to hit Worcester.
A brief period of heavy rain, thunder and very gusty winds may cause some disruption on Wednesday morning.
The storm is set to hit at 4am and is predicted to last until midday.
Meteorologists have warned that there is a small chance that homes, and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail, or strong winds.
Drivers have also been urged to be cautious as spray and sudden flooding could cause difficult road conditions.
Commuters using public transport could also face difficulty if flooding or lightning strikes occur, with cancellations to train and bus services a possibility.
The Met Office has also warned of a "small chance of damage to trees by strong and gusty winds".
Despite a potentially wet and windy start to the day, conditions are set to improve in the afternoon with sunny intervals predicted.
