MORE details have emerged after a man was named and charged after a police shooting in Ronkswood on Saturday, October 2.
Aaron Dunn, of Gower Close, Dines Green, Worcester, was charged on Saturday, October 16 with criminal damage and possession of a firearm while committing a schedule 1 offence (criminal damage).
The 31-year-old man appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Saturday and will next appear in court on Monday, November 15.
Dunn was remanded into custody.
It has since emerged that at Worcester Magistrates Court Dunn also gave his name as Aaron Humphries and his address as Wetherfield Road, Birmingham.
The firearm he is alleged to have had in his possession was an imitation MP5K.
At court, it was also alleged he caused criminal damage to doors and windows at an address in Gower Close, Worcester belonging to Platform Housing.
The value of the damage is unknown.
It follows an incident on Ronkswood Hill and Newtown Road which ended with a man being shot by an armed police officer.
The matter has been referred to the IOPC which will carry out an investigation into the incident and the discharge of a police firearm.
