THIEVES have been targeting work vans in areas of the city stealing power tools.
A number of vans have been broken into recently in St John’s and Dines Green with thieves stealing valuables.
Police officers will be carrying out patrols in the area to try and deter the thieves who are making off with power tools.
They have asked people to remove any valuables, especially power tools, from their vehicles overnight.
If valuables cannot be removed, West Mercia Police is urging people to store them in secure containers, mark property using overt marking and fit extra-high security locks to vehicles.
