A TESLA driver has been given a hefty fine for driving without due care and attention and speeding on the M5 motorway.
Laura Price, of Shernal Green, Droitwich, pleaded guilty at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court to driving a Tesla Model 3 without due care and attention.
The incident happened on the M5 motorway between junctions 4 and 5 near Bromsgrove on March 4 this year.
The 36-year-old also pleaded guilty to driving above the 70mph speed limit at the same date on the same stretch of motorway.
For driving without due care and attention, Price was fined £618, ordered to pay a £61 victim surcharge and costs of £80.
She also had her licence endorsed with six points.
For exceeding the speed limit, Price was fined £309.
In total, she was ordered to pay £1068.
