There are major delays on the M5 following a crash this morning.
Two lanes have been closed after an incident involving a car and a van on the M5 Southbound between J4A (M42) and J5 A38 (Droitwich/Wychbold).
This has led to queues of traffic up to eight miles long, trailing back to J4 (Bromsrove/Stourbridge), causing delays of around one hour for motorists.
Traffic is also being affected on the M42 by J1 (Bromsgrove) as well as effecting local routes in the Bromsgrove area.
Shortly after 8am National Highways confirmed that all but one lane had now been opened and that West Mercia Police officers are in attendance at the scene.

The traffic appears to also be affecting the A38 heading south towards Worcester, near Droitwich and Bromsgrove.
One commuter has said that a journey that usually takes just five minutes, has this morning taken around 25.
UPDATE 9:11am
National Highways have now confirmed that all lanes have reopened.
A statement on Twitter read: "The scene is now clear and the road has re-opened following the earlier collision.
"Thank you for your patience.
"Please have a safe onward journey."
